Ana Carrasco starts the defense of the title with a 15th in the free

The Kawasaki driver, current champion, was ninth in his group and fifteenth in the general. The first 30 have direct access to the race. The rest, to a repechage.

Ana Carrasco has begun the defense of her World Supersport 300 champion title, marking the fifteenth fastest time during free practice on Friday. Some practices in which the 52 registered are divided into two groups, competing during free practice and qualifying for a place in the race on Sunday. The 30 fastest riders in the combined four sessions (three free and the superpole) ensure their presence in Sunday's race, while the remaining 22 will fight on Saturday in a repechage race in which the top six are classified. In total, 16 of the registered for the appointment of Aragon will be left without participating in the race on Sunday.

All group A and group B were dominated by the KTM RC 390 R. In group A, Koen Meuffels, winner last year at MotorLand it was the one who registered the fastest time, and also the fastest record on Friday as a whole: 2: 08.099. In this group A Manuel González (Kawasaki Ninja 400) has been fourth with (2: 08.885), while Mika Pérez finished seventh with 2: 09.645 and Ana Carrasco ninth with a time 2: 09.828, both with Kawasaki.

In group B the fastest was Steeman (KTM) , who stopped the clock on 2: 08,203. The best Spaniard here has been Borja Sánchez with a time of 2: 10.704.

For Saturday is the third free practice session and the classification, also divided into two groups.
