Slimani puts Fenerbahçe ahead in front of a Zenit who missed a penalty

The Slovakian Robert Mak failed to beat Harun Tekin, who deflected the ball just so that it hit the crossbar and return meekly to his hands.

Algerian striker Islam Slimani scored the only goal of the short win in the 21st minute for Fenerbahce's 1-0 victory over Zenit St. Petersburg, , who even missed a penalty in the first leg of the 32nd final the Europa League.

Slimani took advantage of a ball that was dead at his feet on the edge of the small area after a corner kick by the Frenchman Mathieu Valbuena.
